2007 Burning Man Lunar Eclipse MOO MiniCard – Original Photographer Ephemera

A tiny piece of Burning Man history from Black Rock City, 2007.

This MOO MiniCard features an original photograph I took while attending Burning Man in 2007. The image captures the illuminated Man beneath the night sky during the early-morning lunar eclipse on August 28, 2007—the same extraordinary night as the unexpected early burning of the Man.

These cards were produced from my original photograph, with “Burning Man – 28 August 2007 3:30am” and my photographer attribution printed on the reverse. They have been part of my personal collection since that era, and I'm releasing a very small number from the copies I kept.

The unusual miniature format and enormous field of dark playa sky make this a particularly fun little piece of participant-created Burning Man photographic ephemera.
